My Story
I have always had a passion for helping others, which led to my background of Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant, First Responder and CPR Instructor.

I am also the proud mother of two wonderful young men, a wife, veteran and a midwifery student. Once I have completed my training, I hope to add home birthing to my services.

I believe that birth is a natural and beautiful process and that our bodies were created to grow, birth, and feed our babies. I also believe that the birthing person benefits greatly from continuous support and encouragement.
I believe that the birthing person should be informed about their options and be encouraged to make their own choices. I also agree with medical intervention when necessary.

As a Doula my role is determined by my birthing client. I am comfortable with being extremely hands on or remaining in shadows. My role is to be calm, confident and supportive presence for the birthing person and partner. I am there to make sure my clients needs and desires are met.
